Error while importing BP balance through Journal entry template

Hi

Im importing BP balance through DTW by the means of Journal entry template. The error i face is:

Invalid account code Application-defined or object defined errorjournal entries.

Im using BP code in account code field at linenum 0 and offset account code at linenum1.

Pl correct me if im wrong. Pl resolve the error.

Hi,

Instead of account code, only ShortName or ContraAccount would be for BP code. AccountCode must be from OACT.

means field of account code is from OACT for offset account and BP code to be filled in short name.

Am i right?

To be exact: only field of account code is from OACT.

Offset account and short name could be filled in with BP code.

The account code will be your debtors control account SYS code
