Restrict TECO

Dear All,

Is there any standard way of achieving "Restriction during TECO" if some components are assigned in maintenance order

before TECO components should be either deleted or material issue should have been posted.

Sasi,

When the time confirmation is carried out, user has an option (check box) to cancel all open reservation associated with that operation.

Time confirmation should happen before doing the "TECO" of order.

If you are interested to restrict the "TECO" in terms of "TECO" should be allowed only after time confirmation then use the USER status functionality and restrict it.

Could you elaborate on how that happens exactly?

Dear Raj,

The issue here is some critical departments keep a reserv stock of important spares with them for night shifts, and they assign

in the maintenance order. Before stores finds the reservation list they close the orders. This to be restricted.

Are these reserve stock reflecting in the Material Stock?

Then there should be control over the issue of the material, that the Business has to take care.

If they cannot provide control over Material drawn at nights/Emergencies then the Engineer responsible should be wise enough to wait till Goods are Posted against the Order.

If you still want we can have a Message pop up when doing TECO that following reservations will be deleted if you do TECO.

For this you need to use user exit get the required code written by an ABAP.

Hi Sashi,

When you carry out TECO, all open(un-used) reservationswill be marked for deletion. That is the Standard functionality.

Similarly all Open PR's are also marked for deletion. Are you looking for any Extra feature than this?
