Dear All
We have big problem
Yesterday, the COA level and parent account for all active account was
changed suddenly from level 5 to be level 2
Please kindly help us with answer these questions:
1. Do you have any idea, what is cause of this problem ?
is this SBO bug ?
2. How could we see the history for level and parent account changes?
because we CAN see history for COA other information, but we CAN NOT
see history for level and parent account changes
3. When we tried to update the correct level and parent account through
DTW :
a. We can not find column level in DTW template, only parent account
b. When we dtw parent account, there is error : oact.fathernum field cannot be updated odbc 1029
is it possible to update the parent account and level through DTW ? because we should fix 600 accounts, and it is impossible to fix one by one
really appreciate your help
Best Regards
JeiMing

In my company, this problem has happened twice and we can not update the levels by DTW
We have SAPBO 8.81 PL08.
Can anybody tell why it is happened and why SAP does not solved this bug?

Hi
SELECT T0.[UpdateDate] FROM OACT T0
From above query u will get on which date update is made for Account.
If u hv backup then try to take data from OACT table, extract same data in DTW COA template and then check it...
Thanks
Kevin

Dear Kevin,
I can not update COA by DTW.
I do everything base this manual but I faced with this error:
you can update the levels by update query . But take back up ur DB before this activity.
