On SAP Servicemarket place, I found the latest patch for NW 7.0 EHP1 is 6. I wanted to know, which of the patches for the below components I have to install, as part of Application Server Java (for GRC AC 5.3 to be installed).

Hi,

First you have to understand the methodology for GRC installation.

For GRC install, you need NW Java Stack. Since you have installed NW EHP1 (I am not sure abt which patch level you have installed) and this is the NW Java stack. Now you have to install GRC component on this NW Java stack.

Latest GRC Patches from Java stack is GRC 5.3 SP11. So, you have to install below files to get GRC ready on your java stack:

VIRACLP 530_700 SP11

VIRAE 530_700 SP11

VIRCC 530_700 SP11

VIREPRTA 530_700 SP11

VIRFF 530_700 SP11

VIRRE 530_700 SP11

Once these are installed, then your GRC System is ready and you have to perform other GRC configuration steps as mentioned in GRC config guide.

Thanks

Sunny

Hello,

We have installed NW 7.0 EHP 1 with Support Pack 0.

Now I want to apply all the 6 latest support stacks on top of NW 7.0 EHP1, before starting the GRC installs (VIRACLP , VIRAE ,

VIRCC, VIREPRTA, VIRFF, VIRRE)

My query is that SAP Service marketplace gives list a long list of components for SAP Netweaver AS JAVA, (as seen below) with all of them having 6 support stacks each. Which of the below component's six supports stacks, I need to install (as a pre-req for GRC AC 5.3).

The long list of components related to SAP Netweaver AS JAVA are as follows.

ADOBE DOCUMENT SERVICES 7.01

BI META MODEL REPOSITORY 7.01

BI UDI 7.01

DI BUILD TOOL 7.01

J2EE ENGINE BASE TABLES 7.01

I am not able to understand by Support PAck 0 of EHP1. It should not be the case. Anyway First install latest stack of EHP1 which is SP6 and it includes all the component which you mentioned.

After that follow below path to download GRC components:

Go to http://service.sap.com/swdc --> SAP Support PAckages --> Support Packages by Application Group --> Support Packages and Patches > Entry by Application Group> SAP Solutions for Governance, Risk, and Compliance> SAP GRC Access Contro> SAP GRC ACCESS CONTROL> SAP GRC ACCESS CONTROL 5.3> Eintrag nach Komponente--> JAVA-Components

By this path you will get the GRC patches component wise.

Thanks
