Data transfer between Time series to Time series KF

Hi,

I want to do data transfer between DP and SNP planning area.Details as follows...

KFs are TIME SERIES on both sides (ie. DP and SNP)

How can i do this.....kindly expalin...

( Hope release profile is for TIME SERIES to ORDER CATEGORY)

Hi Sai Ganesh,

You intend to copt time series KF, hence Release Profile should not come into picture.

Here are the steps -

1) n/SAPAPO/TSCOPY is the standard transaction to copy time series key figure,

2) While copying from DP to SNP, you need to take care of Grouping condition. Product and Location are the only characteristics you can use for this copy. Select them by clicking 'Grouping Condition' button.

3) Also, many a times, 9ALOCNO and 9AMATNR, the standard characteristics in SNP are not used in DP planning area. In that case, you have to use 'Characteristics Assignment' button to match the characteristics from DP and SNP.

Thanks for all your reply.

1. In Charateristic mapping.....

Source(DP) -Target(SNP)

Mapping 1 : Product - 9AMATNR

Mapping 2 : <attribute> - 9ALOCNO

Can the above Charateristic mapping will do data transfer?

2. Another query is......Is it possible to add a KF in SNP Planning area(already initialized)

Kindly explain.

Hi.

1) Attribute to Characteristic mapping is not possible. Even characteristic mapping to characteristic mapping is possible only for the same characteristic.

2) To add a KF to a planning area, data has to be backed up, time series deleted, changes made and then time series recreated and after all this the data restored. It is not possible to directly add a Key Figure.

Hi Sai,

You can use the program /SAPAPO/RTSCOPY in Tcode se38 to do the same . Select the radio button Activity copy planning version and mainatin the Source and destination planning area. Also you can maintain the selection criterion and also the source and destination KFs in the KF assignment tab.

This is the standard program used for copying of Time series KF to time series from one planning area to other , in your case it is DP to SNP planning area.
