Error in Fase 28 of installation

Hi experts,

I'm trying to install a central instance AS ABAP erp 6.0 on one of my servers with windows 2003 w/ Oracle 10.2.0.4, but the process step 28 "starting instance" give us an error, saying "give up after 10:30 min without response".

Have anyone some idea?

Please check the following files dev_server0 & std_server0.out from the j2ee engine work directory. These usually will give you a descriptive error message as to what is causing the startup failure. If you can't find these 2 files updated, please check

bootstrap files as well as dev_jcontrol file.

In case you have a query about the specific error message, please paste an excerpt here from the above relevant file(s).

Please check logs in work directory /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGSnn/work, sort files by data modified and see which part it stopped at, msg server or dispatcher or work processes...
