Hi, thanks for the link. Unfortunately we don't run a java stack, the scenario is to try to establish SSO as we have for standard sapgui usage but extended to support web service calls into our SAP system.
Sorry, I misunderstood your question. Web Service security is not really my forte. I do not know if this helps you with the version you are running, but I know that development has been downporting Web Service functions into the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 line. Perhaps this will help you...
