Portal provisioning fails - Field Mapping is not set

Dear Experts,

I have problematic Portal Provisioning WF is that ends up with auto provisioning error because no field mapping exist.

Accorting to the Config guide I have to map:

Email Address u2013 email

Telephone Number u2013 mobile

User FName u2013 firstname

User ID u2013 logonname

User LName - lastname

But when creating the mapping the application drop down field is empty.

Do I have to create custom fields first or should the drop down list be automatically populated?

Thanks,

Vit Vesely

Dear Vit,

assuming you're referring to the field mapping for the provisioning?

Yes, the drop downs should be populated automatically - no need for custom or manually entering text!

See our [guide|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/502a14db-6261-2c10-22b5-95117ab0e5ed&overridelayout=true] on page 23

Did you complete the post-install of AC? I.e. loading messages, texts etc?

If yes then please open a CSS message in case the drop-downs are still not populated!

Cheers,

Dear Dominic,

Your assumption is correct. It is mapping for provisoning I am referring to.

I did upload the xml's couple of days ago during an upgrade. Maybe I missed one. I will try to re-upload them tomorrow.

Thanks.

Hi Vit,

Make sure "Parameter Names" and "Parameter Values" are spelled correctly.

If there is any misspell, you won't see the dropdown of "Application Field" values.

Dear Sirish ,

Thanks!

That was more then a typo. Three names/values was missing.

Warm regards,

Vit
