QM & VC Integration

HI,

What are the settings for the integration of QM and VC modules?

We want the Characterstic value ranges selected in Sales Order to be copied as tolerance limits for the QM characterstic values.

What are the basic settings to be made for this setup?

Hi,

For that, u had to select the checkbox " inspection by configuration" in the inspection type assigned to the material master.

The checkbox is in the details of the inspection type.

When u select the checkbox, the values in the sales order are copied in the inspection lot overriding the values of inspection plan

Hi Sumit,

I think there are other settings required other than this one for VC & QM integration.

300 class to be assigned for material. 04 inspection type to be assigned. MICs should be linked to the characterstics

of the 300 class. Acceptance limits of the result recording to be determined from the values in sales order configuration.

Hi,

The settings that I told you are only related to QM in material master.

Rest you mentioned are that of Variant configuration and Material Master.

One more thing, you need to take care is linkage of MIC with the class characteristics.
