ME21N: Purchase orders released until 31.12.2009 only (for quality reasons)

Hi Gurus,

can you please help me in solve the issue below?

The user is creating an PO with ME21N but when checking this error message come up:

Purchase orders released until 31.12.2009 only (for quality reasons)

Message no. 06881

Diagnosis

The vendor is blocked by Quality Management for this material as from the date shown.

can you please tell me if there is something that i have to maintain?

Hi

Check wether quality inforecord is maintained in for that vendor and material combination in QI02 transaction, then check the release date in that if the release date is 31.12.2009 then change it to what you want
