HI All,
We have few long running queries in our system, now sometimes it is required by the user to stop in between a long running query and open a new query quickly.
Normally to stop a running query we need to forcefully come/exit out of server/BEx
So we need to find a way to stop a long running query without exiting from server/BEx completely...
Pls suggest..

hello,
if you are using portal/WAD then it is possible by clicking on some other link in the portal/WAD that will stop the execution and take user to that apge and connection would still be there, but in case of Bex you wont be able to do that without breaking the connection.

Hi,
Ctrl + Alt + Delete, and Task Manager--> Find all Excels and end process.
Thanks

Hi Krishna,
You may kill the background process to stop the long running query.
Go to SM50 and identify the process corresponding to that long running query. And Cancel that PID with Core.
