Hello,
I have two genreal question about DC creation...
1) Does anyone use any sort of naming convention when
creating their DC in order to identify the the
different development types (web dynpro, web service,
dictionary).
2) Is it possible to change the list of
applications in the domain drop down?
Hi Vincent,
First Question: we used following naming convention. Webservice coming in EJB Module.
1.By default vendor name is SAP. You can change vendor name according to your requirements.
2.Name should not exceed eight characters (Recommended)
Give DC Project name in following format:
1) sample/ejb
2) sample/war
3) sample/ear
4) sample/wd
3. Select the language
4. Select the domain
5. Select the component type
Second Question:
Yes you can change the domain drop down according your requirements..
Regards
Suresh

I'm curious: Why would you want to change the values in the domain dropdown?
Actually the label for the drop-down is a bit misleading. If you look at the generated .dcdef file you'll see that "domain" refers to localization (as additional information for translation), not to some general category for DCs.
