Locking & reporting PM02 work orders to check the completion rate.

Hi All,

Identify method of locking & reporting PM02 work orders which are not completed, so they can not be closed and should not be counted in PM02 work order completion statistics.

Eg If there is a time duration of a month to complete the order and order is not completed within timelines then:-

1:- The Order should get closed so that nobody can make changes in it.

2:- We can check the completion rate of work orders in the month.

However I know how to lock a single order. But how can we make this happen so that after a month order get locked itself.

Hi Vineet,

You need to create customized transaction for this function. Take help of your ABAP team and they need to create a program and a tcode which will have your requirments as input.

This program will use functional module DFPS_ORDER_CLSD_SET and close your orders. Input of that tcode can be order number or order type and date. In out put this FM will close all orders.

Hi Gurus,

There is a confusion. If different work orders have diffrent end dates. Then how can we lock the orders having diffrent diffrent end dates.
