Is there any standard process available to cancel inspection lot ,for which UD has been made.

Is there any standard process available to cancel inspection lot ,for which UD has been made.

Best practice says that once you give UD for inspection lot, you can't cancel the inspection lot.

You can cancel the lot as explained by our friends, but that only changes the lot status as canceled, the inventory posting is not reversed stock will not come back to quality by canceling UD.

You have following options:

1) Apply Inspection type 08 to material, and you can bring back the lot to quality and then can post to Block or can send back to vendor.

2) Try applying note 175842 for UD reversal, this can work better if lot is generated after production confirmation. If the lot is result of gr against PO with excise settings then using option 1 is good option.

1. Manual lot - QA02 enter lot > selet inspection lot > function > cancel lot.

2. Auto lot - just cancel GR > MIGO > cancellation.

or

MBST > enter mat doc.

Hi,

Go to transaction QA12, select the inspection lot then press enter.

After that, go to menu bar, select inspection lot --> functions --> cancel lot.

The inspection lot will be cancelled.

Hi.

Just QA32 ( In selection screen select all inspection lot )-- select your lot for which UD has been given --Click on usage decision(Qa12 ) --

In UD Screen header menu click on usage decisionfunction--cancell lot.

By this you can cancell your lot for which UD has been given.
