Posting of Price difference in Current Period by default

Hi Ever body,

We posting invoice inverification bill in MIRO,in March, 2010 , system post 2 document , one bill document posted in March, 2010 but one second docuemnt for price difference posted in 1st of April 2010 . Our MM period also open for April 2010. BUt we donot want to post in April 2010 , all document should post as on 31.03.2010 because posting belongs to previous fiscal year 2009

If you post goods movement to the previous period, the stock posting

amount determined for the current period can deviate from the previous

period.If this is the case, a revaluation document must be created in

the current period.

Hi,

Since there is change in financialperiodand you are doing an back-posting in previous period, Two document will take place if there difference in IR Value with GR value. This is because due to diference IR below from GR value, the system updates the material price of March'10 with the difference amount.

As the period has changed, the value should impact the price of the new period too. So an accounting happens with the difference amount in April also.

If you check the a/c documents, the first document will have a line item of diference amount. Also the second a/c doc. will have a line item of teh difference amount.

This happens to regularise the price of material in the curent financial period.
