How to install a File System in a server, where XI can poll for a file?
HI Rohini,
Are you talking about NFS ?
Just create a folder and mount the folder on the XI box.
You can ask SAP BASIS help here
(if my understanding is correct)

In the scenario where your XI system is on Unix and external source system on UNIX, NFS is easy and useful. If XI is on Windows and external system is on Unix, then you neet to use PCNFS from Solaris or similar proprietary applications.

Hi,
XI can pull files from it's own file system
(so in this case you don't need to do anything)
if you put the file one the XI server
the file adapter will be able to both
put of pull the files from there
