Hello Anjani,

could you please check the java version of where you have started the SAPehpi GUI? Would it be 1.4_xx?

According to the upgrade guide, the GUI requires at least Java Virtual Machine (JVM) version 1.5. Please upgrade it (if the case) and try again.

Best regards,

Hi,

JVM version at OS should be 1.4_xx only and 1.5 is not supported. But you have to take care when you are starting upgrade gui then jce poilcy file should be of 1.5 version.

Thanks

Hi sunny

Thanx for the reply, our JVM and JCE version is 1.5 and as u said JVM 5 it not supported and we should downgarde it to JVM 4, as i am trying to download the JVM 1.4 version it is saying SUN is not spporting JVM 4 now.

Thanxx

Hi,

Could you please give me output of java -version ?

Also, could you please tell me which java policy file you are using while starting EHPI tool ?

Thanks

Sunny

JVM version at OS should be 1.4_xx only and 1.5 is not supported.

It's 2 separated things: the JVM installed on the OS level, which SAP systems normally run, this should be 1.4_xx. But the EHPI GUI should be started from 1.5, as I said on my reply and as it's stated on the UPG/EHPI guide.

This is the solution for the "'Metadialog tables are not supported with old GUI!'" error message.

Dear Tomas,

I have same opinion. Same thing I mentioned earlier. Just some misunderstanding to understand.

Thanks
