unfortunatly SAP reads first all batches of your material from table MCHB, then it checks the selection criteria of each batch, and finally it sorts the batches.
So the best way to speed the batch determination up is to delete the storage location segments with zero stock of a batch record (records of MCHB table), the batch itself will still be available in SAP (table MCHA and MCH1).
