Vinod,

SAP notes will be handled as any other work bench change. Create a workbench transport with ChaRM, then logon to the system and use SNOTE to implemente the note. When prompted for a transport request select the previously created.

Support packages will be handled as in the past without ChaRM. But you can use the task list of your maintenance cycle to have the actions logged. Execute action "Import Support Packages" from your task list, and you will be forwarded to the satellite system, you are in transaction SPAM. From here proceed as usual.

Best Regards,

Hi,

In the transaction SCMA, under each queue (Dev/Test/Prod) there are two options import support package and Import SAP support Package. Are these two options to be used for importing support packages into the respective system.

If yes then will a change request be created ?

will the change request necessarliy go through the approval process ?

What kind of change request will be created ?

What happens when we have to do modifcation adjustment in SPAU/SPDD etc.

Regards,

Vinod

Hi there,

- The different tasks are for the respective systems.

- If you have a project, then you create an SDCR, which is a Service Desk transaction. Tthen out of the SDCR you may create an SDMJ or an SDHFdepending on your needs. So no, no SDCR is created automatically from using SCMA task list actions, please work first in a SDCR.

- SDCRs go through the approval process necessarily

- The kind of correction depends on the subject you choose for the SDCR.

- About the SPAU, etc... sorry, no idea.

Please check the SDN blog /people/dolores.correa/blog/2009/07/23/change-request-management-scenario-working-examples , it might give you some insight on the ChaRM flow.

Best regards,
