Incorrect Hexadecimal Number in Shopping Cart

Dear Experts,

We have downloaded all the materials from ECC to SRM.

We are trying to create both a Shopping Cart and a Contract, but we do have an issue. The system issues an error message stating "Incorrect Hexadecimal Number" and cannot proceeding and looking at the Item Details.

Please can you help as soon as possible?

Hi Michele,

there is a Note that should rectify this for you. It is not an SRM problem but rather BASIS. Don´t worry that its description is not the same of the described issue. Kindly apply the following and retest the system behaviour:

-> 1380903: ABAP Dict. input help:The specified type type "b" is unknown

Just to give you a reply on this. in table COMC_PR_FORMAT the entry is:

CLIENT= 100

LEXI = EMPTY

LENGTH = 18

MASK = EMPTY

DISP0 = EMPTY

SAVE0 = EMPTY

you are alphnumeric make me worry.

PERF01 (they are alphanumeric) - since you have alphanumeric.

In ECC , can you procure the material via PR -PO ?

in SRM , lot of Object linkage conversion and so many stuffs. i think your number range in product master make me worry. what sap says?

--> what is the settings there for product id. ? --> HOW CAN I SEE THEM?

--> did you bring from ECC to SRM ? --> YES WE DID

--> how materails looks in compr01 or com_product table --> THEY LOOK LIKE PERF01 (they are alphanumeric).

COMC_PR_FORMAT - table - se16.

I am afrais since your material has Alphanumeric.

i have seen so far numberic but in your case alpha numeric..

in mm03 also do you have alpha numeric. -mm03 same number as alphanumerc

When creating a shopping cart and to insert the material and to verify, does the mistake already happen?

See in SPRO if the definition of ID of the product is in agreement with Backend.

SRM

Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Master Dates > Products > it Defines Output Format and Storage Format of Product IDs
