system object for user mapping

Former Member

Dear @all, I've created a system object with authentification method UIDPW and mappng method PW. This system object I've assigned via alias to an iVew. The IView can be displayed by an user test and for this I've done a user mapping on tab "Benutzerzuordnung für Systemzugriff" this works fine. But if I try to do this for roles ore groups, no systems will be displayed to select... What is wrong in my configuration?

thx

René

Hi

Suppose you have the system mysystem.

and you want to do the mapping for mygroup for this system.

then assign read and end user permission to mygroup for the mysystem object.

then when you go to User admin and search for mygroup, you will find the mysystem in the user mapping area.

Rajendra

Hi ,

In the usermapping , did you select admin, user in the system?

did you give end user permission to everyone for that specific system alais. you might be missing any one.

Hi Koti Reddy,

System object is configured as:

Authentication Ticket Type: SAP Logon Ticket

Logon method: UIDPW

User mapping type: admin

permission for this system object:

everyone: read

superadmin...

I can find it for user mapping in the UME for the user, but not for roles or groups.

error message for roles and groups:

Potential reasons why a backend system is not available:

  • The selected principal does not have end-user permissions for the system.

  • The system's logon method does not require any user mapping data for the system (such as "SAPLogonTicket" for a system that is not the SAP reference system).

  • The system's user mapping type is not set correctly or not set at all.

  • There is no system alias defined for the system.

  • There is no system landscape registered, for example, the one contained in Enterprise Portal.

User Mapping for System Access in the user account:

Great.. it was the permission... I have to set the permissiion for the role separately to read end with end user flag.

It is not included in everyone; that I thought...

ps: permission was set to system object, not to alias (is it possible to set permission only for the alias?

UIDPW authentification

only User mapping type admin for user mapping

big thanks to all - solved
