BOBJ CMS SIA Unable to add SIA Agent.

Dear Sap,

I was trying to apply setup XI3.1 WebIntelligence SSO with SAP BW in our environment but there are specific errors we havent managed to solve.

The resource that we are using is XI3.1 Integration for SAP Solutions Install and Admin guide and also

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/HowtosetupXI3.1WebIntelligenceSSOwithSAPBW

In this link and in admin guide we have step like "How to prepare BOE XI3.1 environment for SNC and generate PSE" and in that step we have to add new SIA " Go to CCM (Central Configuration Manager) and add new SIA ( Server Intelligence Agent)" but we are unable to add new node in our bobj installation.

Can you please direct us to resolve this problem.

Our Enviroenment is ;

BOBJ XI 3.1

ORacle 102.0

Windows 2003 x86

Start CCM

Click Add Server Intelligence Agent

Enter then Name of your SIA and enter the port Number

Provide the credentials to authenticate

After you Finish Select your newly added SAI

Select the properties

Deselect the option Log on As system account and enter the credential to you granted access to the PSE file

Click ok and start the newly created SIA

Add processing services to the newly created SIA

Log on to CMC and go to Servers Area

Follow the menu path

Manage> New> New Server and proceed accordingly....

All these steps are mentioned in "Integrain SAP BusinessObjects XI 3.1 Tools with SAP NetWeaver" By Ingo Hilgefort

Hello Bashir,

Thanks for kindly response against post but here is the situation.

We are not able to see SIA after we add it because of a database access where we used oracle.

So "After you Finish Select your newly added SAI" was not able to do that.

How we solved problem is we didnt worked long on oracle we installed simple myssql and direct new SIA to that database, and then we were able to assert into.

Thanks for response.
