How to Reduce the Data Base Size - 2007B

Hi!

I have a Customer whose Data Base size has been grown to 30 GB approx.

MDF is 25.1 GB and LDF is 6.24 GB

I have tried a way to reduce the LDF Size that is, i have Deleted the existing LDF file and Recreated a new LDF file with 12 KB size. This i have did using Detach and Attach Function in MS-SQL.

I have not get any error in posting transactions after doing this.

Please advice me or put your views on this

(Please don't advice me about SAP 8.8/Data Archiving because customer is not planning to migrate SAP 8.8 till 2007B stops support)
