Hi Everyone,
I would like to know the best procedure for deleting items of an order in order creation or change mode. I need to delete an item if the product is already existing in other item and i also need to show a message in the log. Say for example, item 10 of an order has PROD1 and user enters the same product PROD1 at item position 110, then i need to delete the item 110 as this product is already available in item 10 and also a message should be displayed in the log.
Thanks,
Regards,
Chan
Hi,
You have a cusomting for that on SPRO: CRM > Transactions > Basic Settings > Define Transaction Types
Select your order document, go to Assigment of Business Transaction Categories: Sales > and then Customizing Header:
There is a Dupl. Check Active checkbox with 3 options to generate an warning essage.
Then maybe you can set this message from warning into an error using transaction: SPRO: CRM > Transactions > Basic Settings > Define Attributes for System Messages
