Sir,
I give free good along with sale item ,but i want free goods quantity split in two lines ,so how I do that?
Please help .
Hi
What do you mean by splitting quantity in two lines.
Actually, when you do free goods process in a sales order (assuming you have maintained all things relevant for this), then whenever you put it material and quantity, then a second item is added to the sales order for the free goods.
So you have two lines for each material with free goods.
Or is there anything else missing?

No, I check Free good configuration ,but in item category determination of delivery document type is LFNormFreetanTann+Tann(manual Item Category),so i maintain manual item category in delivery item category determination, but in delivery line item I maintain the free goods item category manually the error shown tann is not alowed,so how I slove this problem?
Hi,
Free goods has the following limitations:
- Free goods can only be supported on a 1:1 ratio. This means that an order item can lead to a free goods item. Agreements in the following form are not supported: u2018With material 1, material 2 and material 3 are free of chargeu2018 or u2018If material 1 and material 2 are ordered at the same time, then material 3 is free of chargeu2018.
- Free goods are not supported in combinations with material structures (for example, product selection, BOM, variants with BOM explosion).
- Free goods are only supported for sales orders with document category C (for example, not quotations).
- Free goods are not supported for deliveries without reference to a sales order.
- Free goods cannot be used in make-to-order production, third-party order processing and scheduling agreements.
- If you defined a free goods for variants in a generic article (only SAP Retail), you can only process the variants in the purchase order and goods receipt individually (as single articles). In other words, you cannot process them using the generic article matrix.
Not all Sales Order can be used for free goods determination. You have to check the SD document category if it does not work. Only category 'C' are supported. Check transaction VOV8.
Assume that you want to configure an inclusive FREE goods routine. Customers must order a minumum quantity of 5 before any free goods can be assign. For every quantity of 3, the customer will be given 1 free goods.

In this example, if you create a Sales Order for a quantity of 10, SAP will prompt you 7 as the customer order qty and 3 will be free. Customer only pay for the 7 quantity
Hopefully this will help to resolve the answer.

Hi
the item category determination for delivery you show, you have the item usage FREE, so item line will be free in delivery if it was determined as free goods.
Now if you want in delivery to make the item Free of charge, without using Free goods determiniation process, you have to check the item category determiniation: LF-NORM-'empty'-'empty' = TAN, TANN
If TANN is not maintained there, then maintain it.
It should allow you created a free of charge item in delivery.
Let me know if I misunderstood your question.

my free ratio is 1:1 suppose in sales order sales quantity is 10 and free goods quantity is 3 , but after sales order when I creating the delivery document sales quantity is 10 from one batch and free goods quantity is 2 from one batch and 1 from another, here where manually enter free goods quantity , the error is shown tann is not allowed. But in delivery item category determination I mention LFNormFreeTan(higher Level Item)Tann(lower level Item)+Tann(Manual item allow).,But still manual free goods item is not allowed,so how I solve this problem?
If you already maintained the free goods at sales order level, why should you look to do this again in delivery document.
If your copy control settings are set properly, then these will flow in delivery document automatically, and you still have your goods free of charge.
Secondly, you mentioned that your free ratio is 1:1, why should you sell 10 pces and give 3 free, this is not 1:1.
I am sure missing something.

Hi,
You said, you have maintained condition record for Free goods and you are offering 3 free goods qty for 10 sales order qty. and same have been copied in the delivery doc.
Now you are entering additional 1 qty for free goods in the delivery doc. apart from your existing sales qty and free goods qty
That means you are trying deliver total of 4 free goods qty.
This where you are going wrong.
i.e. you already have maintained condition record for free goods. For every 10 sales qty you are giving 3 free goods
Then how system will allow you to delivery 4 free items. It will always give you error
Hope you get inputs

Sagar
The scenario is like this:
For every 100 boxes (base) of a particular medicine, the client provides 10 boxes free. It might so happen that there are 5 batches and in each batch the quantity is less than the required quantity.
Now for the base items, I am able to split i.e. I can pick up 60 from one batch, rest from another batch. But, for free items I am not able to split. i.e. I am not allowed to pick up 6 items from one batch and rest from another.
If I make the delivery quantity for free Items to 6 in the free line item, in the next line while I specify rest 4 to be picked up -- it takes as base item only. Does not show up the item category TANN.
Ok,
we understand from your last post that you correctly maintaines your free goods determination.
Now at delivery, you want to pick qty A from batchA and qty B from batchB.
you have changed default value to 6 pces, and want to take the remaining qty from another batch and free of charge.
Have you maintained:
LFNORMempty usage+HigherleverlItem TAN=TANN
If so I don't see why you can't enter another 4 pces in a second line, but put in HigherLevelItem Field the numier of the item Line (like for example 10, if your base item is on line 10)
