Hi Christophe,

1. Many thanks for the help. It works

2. It appaears we have to log to access the screen but of course at this stage vendors will not have ID. How can we fix that?

Hi Le,

For yr second point you need to create the 'admin user' of vendor

pl. read following extract from CG of sourcing:

The supplier self-registration application must not require user login. It runs with an

anonymous user with the necessary authorizations.

• This user has to be created by the customer in transaction SU01.

• The roles SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEUSER and SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEVENDOR have

to be assigned to this user.

• The user type has to be “Service user”.

Hi Le Radis,

in addition to Dinesh's answer:

to enable anonymous login, you must create a SU01 service user with correct profile and assign it with its password directly at the BSP service level, in transaction SICF -> DEFAULT_HOST -> SAP -> BC -> BSP -> SAP -> ROS_SELF_REG.

Hey Le,

With your Supplier Registration set up, are vendors able to make changes to their master data?

Hi,

After the contact user of the Supplier is set up and sent over to him, the vendor will be able to connect and manage his data.

Hey Guys,

We are also trying to do Supplier Registration without SUS and wondered how to collect more information from the vendor after accepting the data from ROS_SELF_REG. Specifically we'd want to collect Contact information (Name, email, phone) and Product Categories (a more comprehensive list than the one offered on the Questionnaire. Something with search functionality).

Also, without SUS, how are vendors notified of acceptance and given a second URL, username, and password?

Thanks,

Scott

Hello Scott,

Please understand that Supplier Registration is one part of sourcing (other two are sourcing with Bid Invitation and Sourcing with Live auction).

And Entire sourcing is taken care by SRM server only.

SUS will be only required to be installed when you want to implement Supplier Integration (i.e. you want suppliers to confirm yr pur docs, send ASN and invoices).

If you notice the the URL give by Christophe it shows 'srm server' only and not SUS. So the URL sent to suppliers will bring them back to SRM server for registration.

You can ask for more data from suppliers by modifying the standard Questionnaire. You should be able to get hint by searching in this forum.

Hey Dinesh,

Without SUS can I use srmsus_selfreg, the SUS User Management Self-Registration service?

If not, what's an alternative within SRM or ROS to register vendor users?

Thanks,

Hello Scott,

You are right.

Without SUS you can not use srmsus_selfreg and SUS User Management .

ROS is the client where the suppliers are initially registered and screened.

After this they will be transferred to EBP and assigned role of bidder/vendor.

But I am not sure about registering vendor users without SUS.
