Workbook cannot check input data with master data

Dear All,

user input data (Target Planning scenario = A4) in workbook and click copy button.It can copy data into info cube which planning scenario master data no 'A4' value. It makes transaction incorect.

What can i do to protect in this situation??

Hi Joy,

Firstly, I suppose that this InfoObject only has a SID table and does not have master data table.

In this case, the new value is not checked against master data table and is written into SID table directly.

If this is the case, you may consider using an InfoObject with master data table existing.

Besides, I know that it works differently in a web template than workbook.

In a web template, the new value will not be accepted by the system and error will occur.

SAP developer confirmed that both behaviors are the system design.

Maybe you can also try a web template?
