Can anybody confirm the impact of Internal order budgeting ?
Does budget projections are anything other than statistical controls on purchasing?
Is any financial impact involved?

Internal budgeting does not have any financial impacts. You can make setings to generate warnings or errors when making posting if the actuals exceed budgeted amount.
