user name or password incorrect

Dear gurus,

I created a new client and tried to login with sap*/pass, i get the error "user name or password incorrect".

strange in my view!

any help?

This is not strange. Parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0 to login with SAP*/pass on newly created client.

Please search these basic question before posting.

Hi Ogusaga,

First create the new client. Then set the system profile parameter thry T Code RZ10 and select instance profile.\

then click new parameters. after that set this parameter

login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0 then logon new client which one u create then give user name = sap* give password = pass
