reconciliation of WM and IM stock

Please let me know the process how to do the reconciliation of WM and IM stock

Hello,

(1) If you want to make IM stock equal to WM stock, use transaction code MI10 and enter the stock that you are suppose to make equal to WM stock. Alternatively,use LX23 transaction code and create batch input session. Go to SM 35 and clear it in foreground/back ground

(2) If you want to make WM stock equal to IM stock then use following procedure

- Use LT01 transaction code and use movement type 711/712 enter the requirement number =D=Bin of your choice

- The adjusted stock will be posted to 999 storage type as per std SAP configuration

- Clear the difference in IM using transaction code LI21. Please select the storage type as 999 and write off the difference. Material document will be created.

- Check the material stock in LS24 for WM and MMBE for IM. Both the stock of that material should be equal

I tried the 711 Move.Type and system gives following error messgae

'Movement Tyep 711 requires the entry of the requirement Number'
