What are the changes between ECC5.0 and ECC6.0
Can anyone explain me in breif what are the changes as i am confused and not ableto understand what is leading and non leading ledger.
Thanks

Hi,
In the current business scenario, a company has to keep the records for various reporting standards. One standard requires one scenarion and another standard needs the different scenarion. Because of this it is needed to maintain multiple ledgers for the same account. This is called paralled accounting in New Gl.
This is implemented through leading ledgers and non leading ledgers. The primary posting happens in leading ledger.
The leading ledger will have one scenario and non leading ledgers may have the different scenarios.
For example The leading ledger may follow US GAAP and the non leading ledger follows IFRS.
Hope it will clarify your basic doubts and you can easily understand other differences.
