BP Customer Tax Classification not determined in ECC following replication

Former Member

Hi

In CRM 7.0 when we replicate a Business Partner (with role Sold-to party or Consumer) from CRM to ECC 6 the SD customer Tax Classification is not being determined. All other data is fine.

If we modify the Business Partner subsequently in CRM then the Tax Classification is then determined.

Could anyone provide a solution to this problem?

Kind regards

Tim

Hi Tim,

Can you check if you have maintained the BP Tax Groups in the ECC. Following is the navigation path: IMG-Integration with Other mySAP.com Components-Customer Relationship Management-Basic Functions-Taxes-Business Partner Tax Groups.

Here you need to maintan the Country specific tax Types in "Define SAP CRM Tax Types and Business Partner Tax Groups"

and "Assign SAP CRM BP Tax Groups to Tax Classifications".

After performing the above activity, try downloading a single customer in R3AR2, and check if this solves the issue.

I solved it.

It was due to an error in the function module called by the DE_BALE BTE in ECC.
