Hi All,
I have created DBFS repository which is storing the files in Unix. I came accross the link in sap help on how to transport the files, below is the link which i referred.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/44/fa8a46127e0484e10000000a155369/frameset.htm
I am not able to figure out where my files are getting stored on the unix file system.
Any help on this will be rewarded.
Thanks in Advance,
Pavan
Hi Pavan,
The files should be stored in the location you specified in the 'Root Directory' parameter of your repository manager.

Thanks for the reply, when i look into the file system at the location specified in "Root Directory", i am not able to locate the files. System has a folders created called "Contents" under "Root Directory" which is having subfolders like "13, 10, 21.... etc".
I want to take the backup, i am not able to locate the files which i uploaded from portal on Unix file system.
Guys please let me know where I can find the files as its on priority.
Thanks,
Pavan
Hi,
maybe these are your files. I don't know for sure, but it won't make sense for the portal to save your files with the file name on the server. For storing this kind of information, the portal uses the metadata.
Depending on the underlying technology SAP is using, the folder names could be translated into year, month, date. Locate a file and analyze its header information (upload a new file and make a find search based on the creation date). Try to open this file.

Tobias
