NWDI Login problem

Hi All,

I have a problem with NWDI Login. I have specified the server path <http://server:port/sld/cimom> in Window>Preferences>Java Development Infrastructure-->Development Configuration Pool. When I ping it, it is saying ping was succesful.

I am able to create the client in DTR, But when I try to connect to the server by giving user id and password it says,

Ping on server http://server:port/sld/cimom/ returned: 501 Not Implemented

Ping on server http://server:port/sld/cimom/ returned: 501 Not Implemented

Failed to log in.

Where as I am able to login in another systems with the same user id and password, but I am not able to login from my system only.

Could you please some one help me out in this regard? Do I need to change some settings in the NWDS or Something else?

Hi Lakshmi.

Please try this http://<server host>:<port> underWindow>Preferences>Java Development Infrastructure-->Development Configuration Pool and then ping it.

Now try to login to the NWDI through NWDS, it will work

Hi Lakshmi,

What error are you getting in NWDS while login to NWDI. Search/post the error message...

Hi Lakshmi

If you are able to get the successful login with other machines, that clearly shows that there is no issues from the server side or with your login details.

So, NO NEED to change any of your passwords.

Now, ask your Basis person to check your system's Firewall & security settings & also the ports. If they are ok.. unistall the NWDS & do the fresh installation on your machine..Could be the issue.

Just 1 more thing, have you tried to connect with other login profiles to your machine...if not, just try it out b4 doing above steps.. & check what is the outcome.

Hi,

I think you have to change your DTR password first.

Use this url for changing your password if you have not changed .

http://hostName:port/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcSLCMS~WebUI/Cms
