Guys,

One of my user who is getting an error message "unable to reach application server. contact your administrator(ERR WIJ20010)" when he works in Web Intelligence via InfoView.

This is happening often. I searched SAP notes. No luck.

Timebeing i used to restart the BOE servers to fix the issue.

All other users are fine. They are not facing any issue.

Can you please share your thoughts?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Kiruba v.r.

Hi,

Why you start BO server if oter users have no issue? Or you mean you start his machine here?

Do you have SAP on Back End or some other Database?

Does he face the same issue with back end?

Does this user face this problem only on his machine or on other machines too?

If he faces this issue only on his machine then check to see if Service Pack and Fix Pack are updaed on client machine.

Hello Awan,

Here are my answers:

Why you start BO server if oter users have no issue? Or you mean you start his machine here?

I have restarted the BO servers in Windows Server (Development Environement). We are not receiving that error message on every time.

User scheduled the report on daily basis. Many time reports are getting succeed. But few times Report get fails.

If the report is getting Fail, then it is failing on concecutively.

To stop this, i started to restart the BOE Servers (Services). Then we were not receiving any fail error message till some times.

But after some days due some reason it again starts to FAIL.

Again i am doing the same process.

Do you have SAP on Back End or some other Database?

User is using 'Progress' Database.

Does he face the same issue with back end?

No.

Does this user face this problem only on his machine or on other machines too?

The error message is appear in the Instances. So this is not machine based.

If he faces this issue only on his machine then check to see if Service Pack and Fix Pack are updaed on client machine.

The same above answer.
