Sales Order is being currently processed by the user

Hi All,

My Business Scenario:

1. Sales Order will be created.

2. Delivery will be created based on that sales order

3. In case of any complaint from customer, service notification will be created.

4. Based on service notification, return order for that material will be created with reference to sales order.

5. While creating the return order, I am facing the error "Sales document xxxxx is currently being processed (by user xxxxxxx)"

This happens while upgrading from SAP 4.7 to ECC 6.0.

Kindly provide me the solution.

Solution: SAP notes has been applied.

Error message No. is V1042. Also I have gone through OSS Note 675200. But Service Package is different.

Do you have the sales order XXXXX open at the time this message is issued?

Hi Pete,

Thank you so much for your reply.

At that point of time, sales order is not in open condition. Actually that return order will be created from service notification through action box items - workflow. Also the sales order no xxxxxx is the return order number & its not the original sales order number.

What is the error message number?

Tip: take the message number (e.g. IW 123) and put it in OSS to search for a suitable OSS Note.
