cProjects: Create new project out of a simulation

Hi Experts,

Working with cProjects 4.5, we are trying to create a new project taking as a template a simulation. The projects is correctly created but contraints in the simulation are not copied to the project.

Have you had the same problem? Is it standard behaviour?

Hi Neil,

It is standard behaviour. The reason is that, during the creation, the project get today as project start, so the constraints in the simulation are typically obsolete, because project-start of simulation is typically not today.

If you need such functionaltiy, please check the Badi method SET_DEFAULTS_UPON_COPYING of

DPR_ATTRIBUTES.

Thanks for the information. The objective for this simulation as a template is because I want to copy a project planning into a different project.

Is there any other way that I can replicate the project planning into another operative project?
