RPN Calculation in FMEA

Dear All,

This is regarding RPN (Risk Priority Number Number) in FMEA. The RPN Value is calculated by Following formulea.

RPN = Severity of the Effect X Probability of Occurrence of cause X Probability of Occurrence of Detection .

Here my problem is I am uable to input the detection value and system is considering by default as 10 . I am unable to find from where it is taking as 10 value , whereas for Effect and Cause , I can input the values.

If anbody worked on FMEA please through some input on Detection measures and calculations
