How to stop PGI? what are the controls to stop PGI?

You can create a new delivery block (For Example Auto PGI Block).

SPRO>IMG>LE>Shipping>Deliveries-->Define Reasons for Blocking in Shipping, In this new Delivery block, only check the column for Goods Issue Block. Once this is configured, At transaction level, VL02N, you can apply this delivery block at Header level.

This block will stop the PGI, when not required, you can remove this block and do PGI.

Else If you want to automate this, then you can apply this delivery block to sales order.Tt will not affect the confirmation, delivery and picking. But it will only affect PGI. If you want to apply this DB by default to all sales orders then in VOV8, for your order type defintion assign this block in the field Delivery Block , under Shipping section.

Hi,

If u want to stop the PGI based on some condition there are few exits and BADI are there where u can write the coding .

Consult abaper for this .
