Delete Engineering change number

This in reference to Engineering change number

User has maintained ECM number for changing configuration profile in CU42,ECM should not be used for configuration profile as interface and dependencies will not work but this has been maintained accidently.

There are two ECN one is released and second is not released, can you please explain the possibility of deleting the ECN.

Since there are open SO for this material, we cannot block the material

Is there any way to delete ECN
