How to Create Sales Views via MM17

Hi

I have couple thousand materials to be extended with Sales View.

I am not able to do it via MM17.

Only possible if Sales View already exist for material with other Sales Organisation / Dist. Channel.

If you want to extend the views then go for BDC or LSMW as you have thousand materails, co ordinate with your ABAPer for this. If you have small number of materials then you can use MM50 to extend the Material views

MM17 is the Mass data Change for Existing Views , not for Extending the views, Thanks

MM50 is fine but if you do it in Foreground. If you do it for few thousand materials than there is a lot of "press Enter" and "Save".

Do you know if there is a way to use backround processing with MM50 or any other SAP stnd transaction for this?

You want to extend all materials with sales views with same sales organisation/ distribution channel.

If you have all the information you need in the sales views, you can use LSMW to extend the material master.
