fixed insp scope

Hi, activated 03 insp type in mat master. in roouting 2 operations created, each operation 100% samplying procedure (without insp points) assigned for mic's. created prod order for 2 qty and in qa32, while results recording, it is showing fixed insp scope (inspect 1*1.00) for 1 qty only. my req is system should allow me to enter values of 2 parts, where as sample size showing in insp lot as 2. pls note that i have maintained fixed scope in mic thru control indicators. pls advise how to rectify the same.

HI,

Make the MIC as "Single Value" control indicator rather than " summarized calues".

Dear Sumit, it is alraedy maintained as single result and req characteristic thru control indicators. still it is showing to inspect as 1 qty only. i have tried same process with 01 insp type for roh material, it is working fine. any other comments?

Hi Yadav,

Just check whether you have maintained fixed 1 as sampling procedure in material master for this material. I think sampling procedure maintained in material master overrule the sampling procedure in inspection plan.

Please check whether the sampling procedure has been assigned to the MIC of all operations.

ANd if assigned, check the sampling procedure details ,i.e., the sampling type and sample size.

Hi, Thank you. sample type mentioned as 100%, valuation mentioned as "attributive insp non-conf units" and in material master qm view mentioned as 100% insp. pls advise.

Do you have a sampling procedure in the MIC in the plan?

Inspection plan sampling procedures take precedence over material master settings.
