Problem with configuration of Deploy Controller

Hello,

we are running a NWCE 7.1 EhP1 development system which runs on port 54000. I have locally created a small composite application which I have manually deployed to the CE with the NWDS so far.

Now, we want to move the local repository to the NWDI. To this end, we have finally set up a working track on our NWDI. Now, I have problems with configuring the runtime system.

I have selected the "Deploy Controller" option as Deployment Tool.

I have entered the CE as deploy host.

I have entered port 54004 as deploy port.

I have entered the user and password I have used for manual deployment so far.

However, I get the error message that the connection for the buildspace to the deploy tool with my user cannot be created.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Alexander,

Please check the CMS Landscape configuration fo configuring Runtime system for your track.

Hi Arun,

thanks for your quick response.

In the meantime, we figured out that we had blocked the port in the firewall. After unblocking the port, everything works fine now.
