Reg Auth issue with universe and webi

Hi All,

I am facing Auth issue in universe as well as webi .

Scen: I created a Bex query and created one auth variable for region ,it is working fine in BW (Analysis Auth Concept) .

while in BO when i created Universe , i am not able to find the Auth variable . i created webi repor on top of the universe but value's are not showing with restricted access .

Please give me some suggestion or workaround for this .

Hi

how did you add the restriction through the auth variable in your BEx Query exactly ? In the Default values area or in the Characteristic restrictions area when opening the query in the Query designer.

I applied restriction at Characteristic restrictions .

In some BO system Auth variable will not show in the universe .
