Manual Lot Creation

Dear All,

I have got the following queries.

1: I have to create manual inspection lots for incoming quality inspection.

I have created my own inspection type.

Which origing group should I assign to this inspection type.

2: At the same time I want a different number range for manually created lot for better visibility.

Hi,

1. You had to assign it to the inspection lot orgin "01".

2. The number range can not be differnt for inspection type since the number range is assigned to the inspection lot origin.

Then how can I have a separate visibility between manually created lots & lots generated during GR (MIGO).

Hello,

As you have mentioned you have created your own inspection type. (Say Z01 or anything else) It means definitely it is not 01. So inspection type itself is an identifier in this case. For manually created lots inspection type would be Z01 and for GR it would be 01.

You can get this via table QALS

In that, the field: STAT01 is there for to find out whether lot is created automatically or manually.

If the field has value "X", this means that the flot is created automatically.

otherwise manual lot.
