REG : SPS for NetWeaver 7.0

Hi All,

In our project ,team has implemented whole portal(20 applications) using WebDynpro java in NWDS 7.0.14.

Now when i looked at the PAM ,it says that in ie 8.0 the SPS 20 will support and if we upgrade the Netweaver product then will it have any impact on the existing applications.

Could you please let me know whether it would be advisable to upgrade the system to SPS 20 from SPS 14 when implementation phase is over.

Yes is advisable to patch your systems... about the impact on existing applications, well thats exactly why you have a developement environment,so you can patch and check impact on current applications and deliver the corrections if required.

Now, its impossible for use to give you any predictions... any known issues are documented and you can read them in the relevant notes

Thanks for the reply Juan.Is this advisable to implement EHP if we are upgrading the sytem rather to increase the SPS level.

EHPs are exactly that "Enhancements".

If you don't need any of the enhancements, then you don't need the EHPs.
