Default difference indicator in WM TO

Hello,

For confirming WM TO's we use default difference indicator space. Which means differences are administrated on storage type '999' (Differences).

However for replenishment TO's (Movement type 319) differences must be returned to the source storage bin (sending location). For this we have customized difference indicator '2'.

We do not want to change the difference indicator each time a replenishment TO must be confirmed.

Replenishment TO's always have the same destination storage type and fixed location.

Are there any possibilities available to set difference indicator '2' as default for TO's with movement type '319' ?

Or any possibilities in relation to the storage type or fixed location ?

Or possibilities for setting a default difference indicator anyhow ?

Have you considered using 'Return stock to same storage bin' indicator in Storage type? You can find this option under Stock removal control in Storage type definition.

SPRO -> Logistics Execution -> Warehouse management -> Master Data -> Define storage type

We had similar issue and overcame the issue using Fixed Bin Management. This will allow TO in background.
