Hi
Where does mapping programs get executed ? mapping is part of pipeline steps, so it gets executed in the Integration Engine, right ?
Hi,
There are a lot of material already available on this, kindly just seach.
For a direct answer, Graphical, Java and XSLT mappings run on Java side (ABAP part calls Java stack at mapping pipeline step via HTTP) whereas ABAP mappings run on the engine itself and it does not call Java stack. As far as I know, XSLT mappings can also be executed on the ABAP stack as well depending on the configuration.
