Contents of EH & S module.

Dear Friends,

I am SAP QM consultant, want to learn about EH &S. Please help me in getting the components or processes involved in this module.

Pl explain where this module is used how to start with.

Hi Shekhar,

The main components of ECC EH&S are as below:

Product Safety

Hazardous Substance Management

Dangerous Goods Management

Waste Management

Occupational Health

Industrial Hygiene and Safety

One more component is basic data and tools.

For learning this module, I advise to go through the SAP help first. SAP help gives in very structured way the module processes and modeling of the same.

Hello

in addition to what has been explained: there is a EH&S SVT Submodule and a GLM (Global Label Management data submodule).

and EH&S is highly integrated into other modules or tools like MM, SD, GTS etc.

SAP is still using their new development strategy even regarding EH&S. Therefore if you would use ECC 6.0 you should check the available Enhancement Packages which contains new EH&S functionality.

Furthermore SAP has done a "regrouping" regarding the general set up in this area. May be take a look here too:

PS: with ECC 6.0 Enhancement Package 5 there will be a stronger integration of EH&S and QM module. May be could be of interest for you.
