Hi Guru,
After implementing the correction of the note 383728 and regeneration of archiving objects,
for your release 46C COPA1_XXXX and COPA2_XXXX, you have in archiving functionality
of CO-PA (transaction SARA) the possibility to archive deactivated profitability segments.
The correction of the note 383728 provides a radio buttons in the archiving program
which you can use to choose the type of archive.
C_NO_EO --> Archive Transaction Data
G_EO --> Archive Profitabilty segments
If you choose G_EO, ONLY profitability segments are archived,
there is no selection for tables CE1XXXX, CE2XXXX or CE3XXXX. If you
choose G_NO_EO, ONLY transaction data is archived, meaning archiving
runs as before.

Hi Guru,
With the program ZZREOCE4_NEW_46C you get information
about unused profitability segments (CE4XXXX and
CE4XXXX_ACCT). If you start this program in real run with mode
'Deactivate profitability segments' unused profitability segments are
deactivated in table CE4XXXX and table CE4XXXX_ACCT. Only
deactivated profitability segments can be archived.
Once the unused profitability segments are deactivated you can archive
these profitability segments.
To archive data you should call transaction SARA.
For costing and account based the object name used are COPA1_XXXX and COPA2_XXXX accordingly.
When you select the option WRITE to create the archive file you will find these two flags C_NO_EO & G_EO
as entry parameters.
You have to select G_EO to archive the profitability segment.
